Starting at 1:00 PM and running until 6:00 PM, The Plaza in Cashel Town, beautifully situated under the historic gaze of the Rock of Cashel, will host an unforgettable gathering that honours both Irish heritage and the global communities that have made this region their home.
The Le Chéile group, whose name translates from Irish to “Together,” has a clear and committed remit: to bring the best of community events and entertainment to the town, fostering connection and joy. Event Details:
Starting at 1pm on the Plaza, the music and dancing will begin. While the exact schedule is still being decided, there will be dance displays from the Burgess School of Irish dancing, the Federation of Indian Communities in Ireland Bollywood display, and a variety of ballroom, social, jive and swing dancers, from dancers around the country. There will also be musical displays by Comhaltas in Cashel and a Polish Accordionist Showcase, as well as live music by well known local musician Paul Lafford.
There will also be various information boards and market stalls with an emphasis on cultural foods and goods, with different designs and tastes to suit every visitor. Facepainting and hair braiding are other attractions on display. Admission to the event is free, so come along, enjoy the colour and embrace the day.
